You are invited to take part in the 1st of January 2025 New Year’s Day Dip held on the Foreshore (next to the Lifeboat House) at 12.30pm.
The sponsorship format has been changed with the dipper paying an entrance fee of £10 single entrant, £18 for a couple and £30 for a group of three or more, children under 10 years old free, (previously 25% of sponsor money collected by the dipper went to Scarborough Lions).
100% of the sponsor money collected by the dipper/dippers will now be their responsibility to pay over to their nominated charity.
If you wish to take part then please register your interest at aldeacon2004@yahoo.co.uk (Dip Co-ordinator) you will then be given a dedicated registration number for yourself/couple or group plus the Lloyds Scarborough Dip bank account details to pay your registration fee into.
On receipt of your payment where your unique number will be recognised, sponsor forms, timetable and directions will be sent to you.
The Scarborough Lions New Year’s Day Dip, has become the area’s major event of the day, so we look forward to seeing you there.
